As you are aware the Mourne Mountains are a popular area of recreation within Northern Ireland, and therefore the Met Office provide a forecast for this region.

The Mourne Mountains weather page provides a 5 day weather forecast for many places within the Mourne Mountains and the surrounding area, featuring 3 hourly updates on weather conditions for rainfall, temperature, wind speed and wind direction.

Weather Warnings and alerts for the Mourne Mountains are also displayed during periods of severe weather from the 5 day weather forecast available for each location by clicking on a marker on the map. The Met Office warns the public and emergency responders of severe or hazardous weather which has the potential to cause danger to life or widespread disruption through their National Severe Weather Warning Service.
