This day (or part of a day) is for those who were deferred on part of their Mountain Leader (Summer) Assessment. Structure of the day will depend on the aspect of the syllabus that requires reassessment.
Skills covered will depend on the area of the syllabus of the scheme that needs to be reassessed. However, the structure of the day enables us to examine all aspects of the syllabus, ensuring that you have the opportunities to exhibit the skills required of a Mountain Leader
This course is for all who have been deferred on part of their Mountain Leader Assessment and are ready to return for re-assessment as per their course report/assessment feedback.
Re-assessment days may vary depending on the nature of the re-assessment The aims of this course are:
Great assessor made the day relatively stress free making the assessment as painless as possible. Tollymore has been a great place to do the ML award. The facilities available to course participants are excellent and accommodation extremely comfortable. The assessment course is thorough and demanding ensuring that candidates are meeting the correct standard while still maintaining an informative and educational means of feedback. Instructors were approachable and really explained the way in which the assessment would proceed from the outset which really helped us candidates to relax (a bit!) as a lot of our queries and concerns about the way the assessment would proceed were answered at the start of the week. I would highly recommend Tollymore to all aspiring ML's.

Current situation
As you are probably aware the current advice from the Northern Ireland Executive, Health Promotion Agency NI and Health & Safety Executive NI, as well as our expert group within Sport NI is that we cannot deliver any face to face courses for our customers including use of the Hot Rock Climbing Wall.
We know that you and many others like minded folk are very keen to get back on track with your plans to attend and complete a range of personal skills training and qualifications in a range of disciplines.
Believe us when we say we are equally keen to get outside with you and help you reach your goals and complete that journey.
How do we know? Because every day we get emails and phone calls asking when will courses resume and with every NI Executive mention of easing of restrictions the emails and phone calls are more frequent……
