This REC Level 2 is a two-day course (16 hours).
The Emergency First Aid Course is certified for three years and is an entry point for the REC scheme. It is the approved course for British Canoeing, Mountain Training, Royal Yachting Association Cycling Ireland and other goverinng bodies of sport..
It is designed to introduce a systematic way of first aid for managing casualties. Topic learning and practicals intermixed with scenarios of real situations. The course includes:
This REC Level 2 course is perfect for those who require first aid training to enable them to work in an outdoor environment. All the REC courses run at Tollymore have a bias towards caring for people in a remote environment on land or water.
The REC Level 2 course fee includes kit, equipment, in course transport, coaching, food and accommodation.
Course accommodation will be in shared twin ensuite rooms. If you would prefer not to share a room, single occupancy may be available for an additional charge.
The non residential price includes everything that the residential option includes, except accommodation on Day 1 and breakfast on the morning of Day 2

As you are probably aware the current advice from the Northern Ireland Executive, Health Promotion Agency NI and Health & Safety Executive NI, as well as our expert group within Sport NI is that we cannot deliver any face to face courses for our customers including use of the Hot Rock Climbing Wall.
