To be accepted onto this SUP Coach Educator Workshop you will need prior authorisation from CANI.
This SUP Coach Educator Workshop will support coach educators in their delivery of the SUP Discipline Support Module. Outlined below is an overview of the module:
“The BCU SUP Discipline Supporting Module is designed to assist coaches who currently hold BCU Coaching Qualifications and who want to gain a better understanding of the specialist discipline of SUP. The course introduces and explains the fundamental techniques and strategies for coaching SUP paddlesport. The course is a mix of theory and practical activity. The module seeks to support the continuing process of good coaching practice with the syllabus written to focus on coaches who are likely to be supporting the early development of a SUP paddler and who may be delivering BCU awards to paddlers using SUPs”.

This SUP Coach Educator Workshop is being provided by Tollymore in conjunction with CANI to update coach educators who have the necessary experience to deliver the SUP support module.
Course starts 9:30am
Introductions and course outline
Discuss the Module and delivery issues
Travel to water and work through module and key learning outcomes.
Return to Centre for Q & A, debriefs and to finalise paperwork
Course finish: 4:00pm
As there will be practical elements to the SUP Coach Educator Workshop please come prepared to go afloat. SUP boards and paddles will be available from Tollymore stores.
This course price will include lunch, in course transport and the use of necessary technical.
