Why go sea kayaking?
Discover the unique experience of journeying amongst remote islands, explore hidden caves and coves and cruise beneath magnificent sea cliffs. View stunning sections of local coastline from a totally different perspective, land on a golden sandy beach for a well deserved coffee break (you may even get to meet the genuine ‘king of Tory’ offering you an insight into island life).
If you love nature and wild life sea kayaking is the activity for you, paddling just feet away from inquisitive seals, observing unusual sea birds and sighting porpoises and the occasional whale in their natural habitat- to mention but a few. Paddling amidst impressive natural rock arches and venturing into deep sea caves all under the safe guidance of our experienced instructors – not to be missed
For those of you who are seeking a little more thrill our staff can coach you in the art of rock hopping and how to gently ride the odd surf wave!
After an action packed day the sheer satisfaction of reaching your destination through pure paddle power is an achievement in itself.Set up your campsite on secluded sandy beach or island and enjoy the peace and beauty of your surroundings whilst sipping a fresh coffee (or something a little stronger) transported away from the trappings of modern life. The craic around the campsite is 90 and if it is all too much, slip off for a well earned nights sleep your only alarm clock will be the morning call of the seabirds or the gentle lapping of the waves…how can you resist?
Or on our locally based courses returning to our brand new centre to enjoy the lashings of hot water and great food and finally take advantage of one of quieter areas to relax with a book.

Current situation
As you are probably aware the current advice from the Northern Ireland Executive, Health Promotion Agency NI and Health & Safety Executive NI, as well as our expert group within Sport NI is that we cannot deliver any face to face courses for our customers including use of the Hot Rock Climbing Wall.
We know that you and many others like minded folk are very keen to get back on track with your plans to attend and complete a range of personal skills training and qualifications in a range of disciplines.
Believe us when we say we are equally keen to get outside with you and help you reach your goals and complete that journey.
How do we know? Because every day we get emails and phone calls asking when will courses resume and with every NI Executive mention of easing of restrictions the emails and phone calls are more frequent……
